Overview
Zendesk is a cloud-based help desk management platform used by organizations to build customer service portals, knowledge bases, and online communities. Bloo can collect, normalize, and monitor Zendesk logs to help you identify abnormal activity within your Zendesk account in real time.
Prerequisites
- Email Address
- API Token
- Subdomain
Generate an API Token
Log in to your Zendesk account and go to Admin Center.
Navigate to Apps and Integrations → APIs → Zendesk API.

- Under the Settings tab, enable Token access.

- Click Add API token. Optionally add a description for the token.

- Copy the token and store it in a secure location. You will need it in the next steps.
| ⚠ Once this window is closed, the full token will never be displayed again. Copy and store your API token immediately before closing. |
Configure the Zendesk Connector in Bloo
All connector configuration is done from the Datasource page in Bloo.
| Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Connector Name | Enter a name for the connector. |
| Email Address | Enter the email address used to log in to Zendesk. |
| API Token | Enter the API token generated above. |
| Subdomain | Enter your Zendesk subdomain (e.g. for yourcompany.zendesk.com, enter yourcompany). |

Click Save after entering all the required details.
Bloo will validate the configuration automatically.
Navigate to Collection Status and confirm the connector is listed with a status of Active. This signifies the connector is configured successfully and data is ready to ingest.
