A system of record is the authoritative source of truth for a given domain. In finance, it is the general ledger. In HR, it is the employee database. In CRM, it is the customer record.
For enterprise telemetry, no equivalent has existed, until now.
A system of record for telemetry must satisfy five requirements. It must retain all data in full fidelity, no sampling, no tiering, no selective ingestion. It must keep that data hot and searchable, not archived in cold storage that takes hours to query. It must apply structure continuously, extracting metadata, resolving entities, and enriching context at ingest, not retroactively. It must operate at predictable cost, so that growth in data volume does not introduce uncertainty or penalties. And it must run inside the customer's own cloud, because a canonical record of enterprise activity cannot live on someone else's infrastructure.

The five problems Bloo solves
Enterprise telemetry suffers from five structural problems. Each one is a consequence of infrastructure that was designed for a narrower purpose.
Telemetry is treated as exhaust rather than memory. Logs are generated, briefly queried, and discarded. The assumption is that old data has diminishing value. But the opposite is true: telemetry compounds in value when retained and structured. A single authentication event is noise. Twelve months of authentication patterns for a single entity is intelligence.
Full visibility is economically punished. Ingestion-based pricing forces organizations to make tradeoffs between cost and coverage. High-volume sources, cloud audit logs, DNS, NetFlow, endpoint telemetry, are often excluded or sampled specifically because they are expensive to ingest. The pricing model creates blind spots by design.
Telemetry is fragmented across tools and vendors. Security data lives in SIEM. Infrastructure data lives in observability. Compliance data lives in archival storage. Each tool has its own schema, retention window, and query language. Cross-domain correlation requires manual integration, if it is possible at all.
Existing systems are built for human consumers, not machines. SIEM dashboards, observability graphs, and log search interfaces are all designed for human analysts. But the next generation of enterprise operations will be driven by autonomous agents that need structured, machine-consumable data, not dashboards.
Control has shifted from enterprises to vendors. When telemetry lives on a vendor's cloud, the enterprise does not own its canonical record. Pricing changes, platform migrations, and vendor lock-in all threaten continuity. A system of record must be under the enterprise's control.
Full-fidelity retention, inside your own cloud
Bloo retains all enterprise telemetry in full fidelity. Every log line, every event, every audit trail entry is captured and stored in hot, searchable storage. There is no sampling. There is no tiering to cold archive. There is no ingestion cap that forces organizations to choose which data sources matter.
This retention happens entirely inside the customer's own cloud environment. Bloo deploys within AWS, Azure, or GCP, wherever the customer's infrastructure runs. The data never leaves. The customer retains full ownership, full access, and full governance authority.
This is not a philosophical preference. It is an architectural requirement. A canonical system of record cannot depend on external infrastructure for availability, cannot be subject to another company's pricing changes, and cannot create migration risk. The data belongs to the enterprise. The infrastructure that holds it should too.
Predictable cost at any scale
Bloo's economics scale with time, not data volume. There are no ingestion fees. There are no per-GB charges that compound as data sources grow. There are no surprise overages.
This pricing model is not incidental, it is structural. A system of record must encourage complete truth. If the act of sending more data to the system triggers higher costs, organizations will self-censor. They will turn off high-volume sources, sample endpoints, or exclude cloud audit logs. Every one of these decisions creates a gap in the record.
Predictable pricing eliminates this tradeoff. When cost does not scale with volume, the rational decision is to send everything. And when everything is retained, the system of record becomes what it is supposed to be: complete.
Structured for machine reasoning: how agents consume Bloo
Bloo is built for machine consumers first. Its data model, metadata-first, entity-centric, continuously enriched, is optimized for autonomous agents to reason over.
This means several things in practice. Events are not just stored; they are resolved to entities. A login event is linked to a user identity, a device, a network segment, and a geographic location. A cloud configuration change is linked to the service, the role, and the change history. Over time, these linkages create entity histories, the complete behavioral timeline of any object in the enterprise.
Agents consume these entity histories as structured knowledge. They do not need to query for individual events and reconstruct context. The context already exists as maintained understanding. This is what makes agentic operations viable: AI with institutional memory, not AI that starts from scratch with every invocation.
The difference matters because AI without memory produces confident but incorrect outcomes. An agent that cannot access six months of authentication patterns for a user cannot reliably assess whether today's behavior is anomalous. An agent that cannot trace the full change history of a cloud resource cannot accurately determine root cause. Memory is not a feature, it is a prerequisite.
How Bloo fits into your existing security and data stack
Bloo does not replace every tool in the stack. It replaces the data layer underneath them.
A traditional SIEM is one consumer of Bloo. The SIEM receives structured, enriched telemetry from Bloo and performs its detection and alerting functions on top of it, but it no longer needs to be the retention layer. This separation means the SIEM can focus on what it does well (correlation, detection, case management) without being constrained by ingestion economics.
Observability platforms consume telemetry from Bloo for infrastructure and application monitoring. Security orchestration tools pull enriched context from Bloo for automated response workflows. Compliance systems query Bloo for audit-ready retention records.
And increasingly, autonomous agents integrate with Bloo as their primary data plane, reasoning over the structured, enriched telemetry that Bloo maintains as organizational memory.

Tools can be added, replaced, or upgraded without disrupting the canonical telemetry record.
